DESCRIPTION:EVENT DAY SCHEDULE\n\n8:00 AM- Check-In\, Sponsor Village\, Team Tents\, Kids Activities Area and T-Shirt Contest Voting Open\n\n9:00 AM- Stage Activities Begin \n\n10:00 AM- 3 Mile and 1 Mile Walk Start\n\n11:00 AM- Stage Activities Continue\n\n11:30 AM- Lunch \n\nNoon- 2:00 PM- All Activities Continue and T-Shirt Contest Winners Announced from Stage \n\nThe Walk will take place rain or shine.\n\nWALK ROUTE\n\nThe Walk Route will take place on The Nature Park Walking Trail. We will walk three loops on The Nature Trail totalling 3 miles. Those participants who only want to do 1 Mile can stop after one loop and enjoy the activities.\n\nCHECK-IN INFORMATION\n\nAs you enter the park\, Check-In will be located at one of the first tents. Please make sure to turn in your fundraising dollars at the Check-In tent and those who fundraised $100 or more will get their One Walk t-shirt. \n\nV1P'S\n\nThe V1P tent will be located next to the Check-In Tent. All participants who fundraised $1\,000 or more will gain access to the V1P tent and should stop by and pick up their goodies.\n\nNEW FAMILIES\n\nThe New Families tent is located next to the Check-In and V1P tent as you walk into the park. All new families should make sure to stop by this tent and get their goodies.\n\nFOOD\, FUN & ENTERTAINMENT\n\nThere will be several new activities going on throughout the day. Make sure to stop by the Arts and Crafts tent and jumpy inflatables for some family fun. We will also have a Team Photo area\, the stage will have dancers and family zumba throughout the day. Our Sponsor Tents will be filled with goodies\, so stop by and check them out! There will be snacks and lunch provided for all participants.\n\nTEAM TENTS\n\nThere will be a Team Tent area for teams who fundraise $2\,500 or more for the One Walk. Please contact mreza@jdrf.org for more information on the Team Tent Area.\n\nFUNDRAISING DETAILS\n\nAll fundraising money should be dropped off at the Check-In tent. JDRF will provide envelopes for you to count your money and submit on walk day. We do accept donation and fundraising dollars leading up to the walk\, so please do not hesitate to stop by the office and drop off money and/or mail in checks you collect in advance.\n\nDIRECTIONS & PARKING \n\nFrom I-55: Take Lakeland Exit South towards Carthage. Go 6.1 miles down Lakeland Drive. Take a left onto Old Fannin Road. Turn right onto Flowood Drive. Parking will be about .3 Miles on your left. \n\nThe Nature Park Address: 4077 Flowood Drive\, Flowood\, MS 39232 \n\nPARKING FOR THE ONE WALK WILL BE LOCATED AT FLOWOOD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL\, THE LIBRARY AND WINNER'S CIRCLE PARK. PARTICIPANTS WILL BE GUIDED TO PARK AND DIRECTIONAL SIGNS WILL BE POSTED FOR PARKING ASSISTANCE. PARTICIPANTS WILL HAVE A SHORT WALK INTO THE GATES OF THE NATURE PARK.
