Relay For Life of Flowood/Reservoir
Relay For Life is an organized, six hour community fundraising walk where teams of friends, family and colleagues camp out around and take turns walking the track. Food, games and activities provide entertainment and build camaraderie. It’s a family-friendly environment for the entire community!
The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is the world's largest and most impactful fundraising event to end cancer. It unites communities across the globe to celebrate people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and take action to finish the fight once and for all. Today, with the support of thousands of volunteers like you, the American Cancer Society is helping save more than 400 lives a day. And we won't stop until we finish the fight against cancer!
This year, the Relay for Life of Flowood/Reservoir will take place at Winner’s Circle Park on April 24th from 6:00pm until midnight. This year’s theme is “Back to the Cure” so get your 80s themed ideas ready! The night of Relay will include fun activities and entertainment for you and your team members – you will have a campsite assigned and you can bring out a tent, chairs, food, items to sell, games to play, etc. It is a special time for the community to come together to honor survivors, remember loved ones, come along side caregivers and fight back to find a cure for cancer!
